A New Chapter

Today I am thrilled to announce that I'll be joining IBM Design as a Front-End Developer at their studio in Austin.

IBM Design

This is an amazing opportunity to be on the product design side of things, something I've been wanting to do for a while. It'll definitely be a big challenge; the design studio has been tasked with reinventing how IBM creates software. So you know, no pressure.

A Goodbye

Unfortunately, this new endeavor means leaving Dallas, my home for the last six years. I've had a wonderful time here, and am very sad to say goodbye. I've met some great people, whom I will miss dearly. I've also had the privilege of starting two great groups, which I'm sure will continue to thrive without me. I will, however, continue to help organize Front Porch.

I'm really excited, and slightly terrified, about this new chapter of my life.

Wish me luck.

I'm Mina Markham, a Sass-lovin' front-end architect in Dallas, TX. I founded the Dallas chapter of Girl Develop It & DFW Sass. I love conferences; I co-organize Front Porch & give talks all over.
